Driving up to Underwood’s Former Home
As you drive up the long driveway leading to Underwood’s former home, a neutral brick exterior with grey roofing comes into view.
The driveway splits into two sides: the left, which guides you to a three-car garage, and the right, which ushers you to the front door.
Charming Country Interiors
Underwood and Fisher’s home was thoughtfully designed to reflect elegance, comfort, and functionality.
In the YouTube video posted by Taste of Country, you can see the home’s expansive layout features high ceilings, large windows, and an open floor plan that fills the interior with natural light and emphasizes spaciousness.
Our personal favorite is the primary suite, which features a two-story closet and dressing room with a spiral staircase connecting the two levels.
A Look At Carrie’s Real Estate History
In another YouTube video from Taste of Country, you can explore her real estate journey, starting with the modest Franklin home she bought in 2005 using her American Idol winnings, well before marriage and motherhood.
It’s fascinating to compare her two former homes, which reflect not just the evolution of her lifestyle but also how rising fame allowed her to move into spaces that matched each chapter of her life.
Where Do Carrie And Mike Live Now?
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s former Brentwood home was the setting for many firsts, from their wedding and the start of their family to the growth of their careers.
Despite its Italian-inspired architecture and warm, polished interiors, the home was never intended to be permanent. In 2011, the couple purchased land to build a custom estate tailored to their future.
By 2019, they sold the Brentwood property for $1.4 million and relocated to their “forever home”, a custom-built estate over 400 acres in Franklin, Tennessee, complete with private horse stables, expansive gardens, and a lake, where they now live with their two sons.
I’ve been always wanting to consider this part of Tennessee for my next estate home. Perhaps 2025 could be the year. Feel free to reach out to me. I’m north of Detroit in Michigan about 45 miles Northeast of DTW Detroit Metro Airport near Selfridge Air National Guard base. Macomb County, MI please do not post my email address.
Doesn’t look like anyone lives there.
