Adam Driver Sells $5 Million Brooklyn Heights Loft
Adam Driver has sold his Brooklyn Heights loft after listing the combined residence for just under $5 million in June.
The “Star Wars” and “Marriage Story” actor assembled the home over several years, purchasing one unit in 2014 and a neighboring residence in 2017 for a combined $4.24 million before joining them into a single 2,681-square-foot home.
The property went under contract just weeks after hitting the market and officially closed on August 21st for an undisclosed price.

The Loft’s History
The condominium where Driver’s loft is located occupies a converted candy factory dating back to 1892 called “Peaks Mason Mints”.
Many of the factories architural features, such as soaring ceilings, exposed timber columns and beams, and oversized arched windows, remain in many of the condos.
Driver brought in Elizabeth Roberts Architects to transform his two neighboring units into a cohesive loft-style residence while preserving the building’s industrial history.
Inside Driver’s Loft
Inside, the completed floor plan includes three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a dedicated study.
Custom glass-and-steel partitions divide portions of the open interior while teak paneling, bespoke millwork, and layered natural materials bring warmer finishes to the industrial architecture.
Details added during the redesign include Forbes & Lomax light switches with integrated electric shade controls, motorized window shades, and custom drapery and upholstered elements by Stitch Room.
The boutique condominium also provides residents with a fitness center, doorman, and cold storage, while Driver’s residence came with two private storage units of its own.
Where is Driver Going Next?
Despite selling the loft he spent years assembling, Driver isn’t going far. Not long before the sale closed, the actor reportedly paid $11.5 million for three units on the sixth floor of The Standish, an exclusive Columbia Heights condominium also located in Brooklyn Heights.
The purchase suggests Driver isn’t leaving the neighborhood so much as trading one custom Brooklyn residence for another.
After more than a decade tied to his former loft, his next project could involve combining the newly acquired units into another significantly larger home.
