Former NBA star Ben Wallace has listed his Virginia estate for $6.9 million, making it one of the area’s highest-priced residential offerings to hit the market this year.
Nicknamed “Big Ben,” Wallace spent the majority of his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons, becoming one of the league’s most dominant defensive players before transitioning into a career as a basketball executive.
Wallace and his family purchased the land roughly 15 years ago for $790,000 and went on to custom-build the 22,308-square-foot European-style mansion, completing it in 2015.
