David Falk Looks to Sell Oceanfront South Carolina Home For $25 Million

David Falk, the legendary sports agent who helped turn Michael Jordan into a global icon, has listed his oceanfront Kiawah Island estate for $25 million.

Falk signed Jordan just before the Chicago Bulls selected him in the 1984 NBA Draft, later convincing Nike to build its marketing campaign around the rookie while coining the now-famous “Air Jordan” name that transformed the sneaker industry.

Completed in 2006, the maritime-inspired residence occupies two combined oceanfront lots and reportedly cost Falk about $16 million to custom-build.

Inside Falk’s Oceanfront Home

Designed by a Harvard-trained architect alongside a team of engineers and a master builder, Falk’s three-level home is entered by a long driveway that winds through oak and pine trees.

Just before the front door, a traditional double wedding staircase rises to the entry tower, where a lighthouse-inspired central column and a marble compass set into the foyer’s floor introduce the home’s maritime theme.

Beyond the entrance, the roughly 8,800-square-foot interior features six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and a powder room, with an elevator connecting all three levels.

At the center of the home is a living room topped by a large oval gallery and enclosed by walls of glass overlooking the curving coastline.

The nearby dining area leads into a kitchen finished with warm wood cabinetry, while a dividing wall provides separation for the two-story primary suite.

Outdoor Spaces

As seen in the Instagram video below, the ocean-facing rooms extend onto decks that surround a 110-foot infinity-edge swimming pool, a covered cabana, and an outdoor fireplace.

From the pool terrace, a private boardwalk crosses the dunes and leads directly to the beach.

While pictures of the property can only go so far, the video tour from Kiawah Island offers a more detailed look at Falk’s entire property as it guides you from room to room.

Final Thoughts

After nearly two decades in the custom oceanfront home Falk built from the ground up, he is now preparing to close a long chapter on Kiawah Island.

The sale would pass the maritime-inspired estate to a new owner while potentially setting a residential record for the island if it sells near its $25 million asking price.

Beyond that milestone, the property offers glass-lined interiors, a 110-foot infinity-edge pool, expansive oceanfront terraces, and a private boardwalk leading straight to the beach.

An optional Kiawah Island Club Golf Membership adds access to the community’s private golf courses, beach clubs, tennis facilities, and clubhouses, which only increases the desirability of this luxury listing.
