Inside Brees’ Treehouse
Known as the On The Rocks Treehouse, the structure sits tucked into the forest within a private, gated community roughly 13 miles from Whitefish.
The home features natural hemlock paneling, open-beam ceilings, and expansive wood flooring that emphasizes its mountain setting. Large decks extend the living space outdoors, offering elevated forest views and quiet seclusion.
Inside, the treehouse is fully furnished, with a compact but complete kitchen featuring full-size appliances, a bar-top dining area, and a cozy living room.
Down below, a natural rock firepit and outdoor seating areas create the perfect spot to take in the surrounding nature.
Full Video Tour
Concierge Auctions shared a more in-depth video tour that walks viewers across the land and through the guest house’s main living spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
The most striking element is the view, seen through full walls of glass doors and windows that make the surrounding landscape feel like part of the interior.
While the home is clearly built with luxury in mind, the design stays true to its treehouse roots, blending high-end finishes with an immersive, elevated setting.
The Homestead Community
Set within the gated Homestead community, the property sits in a setting designed for year-round outdoor activities.
Residents have access to miles of hiking and biking trails, equestrian amenities, and even a private shooting and archery range, along with two lakes for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
When winter arrives, Whitefish Mountain Resort is just about 20 miles away, making skiing and snow sports an easy day trip from home.
What’s Next For Drew’s Treehouse
For Drew Brees, the Montana treehouse was a childhood dream come true, which, despite the now lengthy selling time, will always be a happy moment he gets to look back on.
Originally built as a guest house, the 20-acre parcel is fully prepared for its new owner to expand it, with well, septic, power, water lines, and generator hookups already in place.
Once sold, the land offers a unique opportunity to build a larger all-year-round or vacation compound, with the luxury treehouse being just the first piece.
