First Look Inside Robert’s Former Estate
Set on 8.29 acres at the famed “end of the road” in Hā‘ena, Robert’s former estate has more than 400 feet of direct beachfront, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Limahuli Valley, and the green peaks of Mt. Makana.
The land spreads across three separate parcels, offering flexibility and potential for future expansion, all while remaining surrounded by preserved natural landscape.
The main residence, updated by Walker Warner Architects, measures just over 3,100 square feet and is designed to embrace a connection to the outdoors through floor-to-ceiling glass and expansive lanais.
Also on the property is a separate one-bedroom caretaker’s cottage that provides additional accommodation, alongside a 490-square-foot pool and an air-conditioned gym.
Modern sustainability features were also integrated throughout the property, including photovoltaic panels paired with Tesla batteries, Starlink internet, and a whole-house water filtration system.

Where is Roberts Now?
The estate’s recent $27.6 million sale, after first hitting the market at $29.5 million, closes another chapter for the home Julia Roberts used to bring her family to.
While she no longer owns property on the islands, she never goes far from the water as she still owns an ocean-view home in Malibu, where her family has lived since 2003. Over the years, she’s also acquired additional properties in New Mexico and New York.
As her real estate portfolio continues to evolve, so does her career, with another full-circle moment on the horizon as she prepares to rejoin George Clooney and the original cast in the highly anticipated ‘Ocean’s 14’, which is reported to be in early production.
