John Harbaugh Lists Maryland Mansion For $6.9 Million

After being fired as the Baltimore Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh is looking to sell his historic Maryland estate for $6.9 million.

Harbaugh purchased the stone mansion in 2013 for $3 million, shortly after leading the Ravens to their second Super Bowl championship.

Since then, the estate has served as his private retreat, just 30 minutes from M&T Bank Stadium, with early 20th-century architecture and extensive modern updates.

Inside The Historic Home

Once inside, rich millwork, handcrafted details, and multiple fireplaces give the home a timeless feel.

The main level includes formal living and dining rooms, a den, and a sunken family room centered on a stone fireplace overlooking the surrounding grounds.

The chef’s kitchen serves as the heart of the home, featuring a massive center island, premium appliances, and a breakfast nook tucked beside a large bay window.

Upstairs, the primary suite includes a private sitting room, an expansive walk-in closet, and a luxurious bath, while additional bedrooms are spread across the upper floors.

Resort-Style Grounds

Outside, bluestone patios, covered porches, and elegant stone retaining walls extend the living spaces outdoors, leading to an in-ground pool, hot tub, and fully equipped pool house.

A separate carriage house across the lawn adds even more flexibility with its own kitchen, family room with an oversized fireplace, and an upper-level suite.

Why is Harbaugh Selling?

After nearly two decades leading the Baltimore Ravens, Harbaugh’s departure marks the end of one of the NFL’s longest coaching tenures.

Now, following his dismissal and subsequent hiring as the New York Giants’ new head coach in January, he’s beginning a new chapter both professionally and personally.

Listing the Maryland estate he has called home throughout much of his time in Baltimore appears to be part of that transition, closing the door on a city that defined much of his coaching career as he looks to put down roots in New York.
