Kevin Stefanski Sells Cleveland-Area Home for $2.65 Million In Off Market Deal
Former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has officially closed the book on his time in Northeast Ohio, selling his Rocky River home for $2.65 million in an off-market deal.
Stefanski originally purchased the home in 2020 for $1.68 million, walking away with a gain of roughly $970,000, nearly a 58% return.
About Stefanski’s Home
The property spans over 5,000 square feet with six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms in Rocky River, one of Cleveland’s most desirable suburbs situated along Lake Erie just west of the city.
While not much is known about the property, and there aren’t any additional photos of the interior, the sale comes five months after the Browns fired Stefanski on January 5th.
His tenure ended with back-to-back losing seasons, including a 3–14 collapse in 2024 driven largely by the Deshaun Watson disaster. A bounce-back to 5–12 in 2025 wasn’t enough to save his job, as Cleveland missed the playoffs for the second straight year.
Future In Atlanta
He didn’t stay on the market long. On January 17th Stefanski signed a five-year contract to become head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, becoming the 20th head coach in franchise history.
Atlanta was looking for an upgrade after their own back-to-back 8-9 seasons under Raheem Morris, and Stefanski, who is a two-time Coach of the Year with a proven offensive track record, was the answer.
He brought familiar company with him, with offensive coordinator Tommy Rees joining from Cleveland to run the Falcons’ offense in 2026.
Final Thoughts
The off-market sale is a fitting final footnote. Stefanski came to Cleveland, endured the highs and the grind, and has now settled his last remaining tie to Ohio.
For Stefanski, the next chapter is already underway in Atlanta, and he’s heading south nearly a million dollars richer than when he arrived.
