The forme Washington Capitals star forward, Nicklas Backstrom, has sold his Northern Virginia mansion for $11 million after originally listing it for $14.9 million.
The move comes as Bäckström stepped away from the NHL due to lingering hip issues. It’s believed that he will join his old Swedish team, Brynäs IF. The Swedish-born NHL veteran, who joined the Capitals in 2007, purchased the newly built Langley Hill estate in 2021 for $8.5 million.
