Pete Davidson’s North Salem Home Gets Price Cut to $1.895 Million

Actor and comedian Pete Davidson has once again cut the price for his Westchester County home to $1.895 million after first listing it for $2.5 million only a few months ago.

The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member purchased the North Salem estate in 2023 for $1.95 million while searching for a quieter escape from New York City.

What began as a weekend getaway eventually became his full-time home, offering a more private lifestyle about 90 minutes outside Manhattan.

Set on more than six acres, the property combines a renovated 1930s residence with extensive outdoor amenities and wooded surroundings.

Pete’s Renovated Country House

Originally built in the 1930s, Pete Davidson’s home was later reworked to introduce more open and contemporary living spaces while preserving its country-house structure.

Positioned at the end of a long drive, the residence overlooks a pond and the surrounding landscape lined with lawns, gardens, and mature trees.

First Look Inside

Inside, the home combines vaulted ceilings, pine flooring, and exposed materials with updated lighting and finishes.

The layout emphasizes natural light and connection to the outdoors, with large windows and multiple decks facing the water views.

A great example of that is the great room with a large stone fireplace, which serves as the central gathering space and is surrounded by walls of windows.

On the other hand, the kitchen introduces more contemporary elements through custom cabinetry, professional-grade appliances, and stone surfaces. Additional interior spaces include a sauna, wine cellar, and pine-paneled lower-level family room.

The grounds are structured around wellness and recreation features, including a covered lap pool with a swim jet, hot tub, and cold plunge area.

A detached outbuilding also functions as a separate entertainment and fitness space, including a gaming and media room alongside a gym.

Our Top Favorite Interior Spot

One of the standout spaces in the house is the game and media room, finished almost entirely in warm natural wood that gives it the feel of a cozy mountain lodge.

Built-in shelving lines the walls alongside a large television and lounge seating setup, creating a casual space designed for movie nights or gaming sessions with friends and family.

With its oversized sectional, colorful accents, and tucked-away layout, the room feels more relaxed and personal than the rest of the house, making it an easy favorite spot to spend time in.

Of course, there’s so much more to the house than just its great layout, beautiful surroundings, and gaming room.

Why is Pete Selling?

Although Davidson has admitted he’s sad to part ways with the North Salem property because of the memories tied to it, the sale ultimately reflects a major change in his personal life.

During his time here, the home became the backdrop for everything from recording podcast episodes to sharing moments with family, including learning that he was going to become a father.

But with his daughter, Scottie Rose, now at the center of his life, the long commute between the property and his extended family in Staten Island and New Jersey reportedly became less practical.

For a future buyer, the estate now offers a private country retreat with more than six acres, pond views, updated interiors, and multiple outdoor living areas.
