Post Malone’s Childhood Home In Texas Sells For $530,000

Long before arena tours and chart-topping hits, Post Malone was a 10-year-old kid settling into this three-bedroom home in Grapevine, Texas.

His family purchased the property in 2006, and it was here, inside these 1,685 square feet, that he first began experimenting with music, from playing Guitar Hero to picking up a real guitar and performing around the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Now, the house where his musical journey began has officially sold after less than a month on the market. It was originally listed for just under $530,000, however, the final sale price is unknown.

What it’s Like Living in Post Malone’s Home

In a separate segment from CBS Texas, the current owners reflect on what it’s been like living in the house he grew up in, from the chaotic early years of fans constantly driving by to the occasional piece of mail that still arrives in his name.

Where Does Post Malone Live Now?

Before the platinum records and sold-out arenas, Post Malone was living in this modest Texas home, staying there right up until he made the leap to Los Angeles at 18, in hopes of starting his music career.

It was here that the early ambition took shape, long before the face tattoos and chart-topping hits made him a global name.

However, since then, Post has left Los Angeles behind and planted roots in Utah, purchasing nearly seven acres in Cottonwood Heights for $3.9 million and transforming it into a futuristic, apocalypse-ready compound.

The sale of his Texas childhood home offers a full-circle moment, a reminder of the musician’s humble beginnings that helped him get to where he is today.
