Sara Gilbert’s Los Angeles Home Gets Price Cut to $8.45 Million

Tour Sara’s Home
Sara’s Los Angeles home is filled with character, from the book-lined entry hall and music-ready living room to the golf course views and glimmering blue pool.
Every space feels like a reflection of her, carefully curated and deeply personal. You can see it all for yourself in the Instagram tour shared by Carolwood Estates.
Deeper Dive Inside Our Favorite Spots
Gilbert’s home is filled with standout spaces, each showcasing a unique blend of craftsmanship and comfort, but a few in particular deserve a closer look for the way their design captures the unique character of the home.
Foyer
The home’s entrance is easily one of the standout spots, immediately immersing you in the distinctive design elements Gilbert has brought to life.
A large deer tapestry sets the tone behind an entry table lined with books, while a motorcycle, displayed like a piece of art, sits across from it, perfectly blending sophistication with personality.
Primary Suite Balcony
With one of the best views in the house, the primary suite has its own private balcony overlooking the entire backyard and the Wilshire Country Club’s 8th Fairway in the distance.
Home Gym
Just below the primary suite’s balcony sits a compact home gym, one of our favorite spots for its perfect placement within the house.
Nestled in a sunny corner, the gym features sliding glass doors that open directly to the backyard, letting in fresh air and offering an easy path to the pool along the stone walkway.
Outdoor Dining Area
Another favorite spot is the outdoor dining area, a spacious terrace featuring a large table that seats ten, ideal for hosting dinners under the open sky.
Positioned perfectly to catch the glow of Los Angeles sunsets, it’s a setting that turns every meal into a picture-perfect moment.
A Glimpse of Life in The House
In a clip from Live with Kelly and Mark, Sara Gilbert gives a closer look at the dining room’s standout feature, an art wall made from real spools of yarn sourced from an Italian rug factory.
The unique piece brings a playful, creative energy to the space, making it feel more like a cozy craft room than a formal dining area.
Why is Sara Selling?
As The Conners came to an end after seven seasons, Sara Gilbert’s decision to list her Los Angeles home originally marked the end of a meaningful era in both her career and personal life.
Purchased in 2016, the modern farmhouse has been her home through years of filming, creative producing, and raising her family in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood.
With the series now over and her professional chapter with the beloved sitcom has come to a close, it seems Gilbert wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to two things this year.
