Walking up to MacNeil’s New Florida Home
Offered for the first time, David MacNeil’s new South Florida home is a custom-built contemporary residence on nearly two acres, stretching approximately 150 feet from the Intracoastal to the ocean.
The entrance to the main house begins with a line of palm trees and clean white perimeter walls that give little away from the street.

Two wide paver driveways lead inward, framed by mature tropical landscaping that gradually reveals the home’s crisp modern exterior that’s set back from the road, offering privacy.

First Look Inside the Estate
Inside, the home unfolds across three levels serviced by both a marble elevator and a dramatic cantilevered staircase.
Expansive living and entertaining spaces are framed by floor-to-ceiling glass walls, custom stonework, and dramatic lighting installations.
A full-service bar, temperature-controlled wine room, club lounge, and multiple dining areas make up the main level, in addition to a gourmet kitchen and secondary scullery kitchen.
The upper floor is devoted largely to the primary suite, which includes dual spa-style bathrooms, boutique-level walk-in closets, private sitting rooms, and private oceanfront terraces.
The lower level functions as a full-scale entertainment and wellness complex, featuring a Zen spa with steam and massage rooms, a fully equipped fitness center, a movie theater, a game lounge, and a bowling alley.
Outside, an infinity-edge pool, multiple lounge areas, fire features, and alfresco dining zones overlook the Intracoastal, while a private concrete dock with a lift accommodates large vessels and personal watercraft.
Beachfront Cabana
Set along the ocean side of the estate is the beachfront cabana. A private underground tunnel connects it discreetly to the main house, allowing owners and guests to move from house to sand without ever stepping into public view.

Framed by palm trees and open lawn with the Atlantic just beyond, the cabana serves as a secure, sheltered base for beach days, blending utility with the same clean-lined, contemporary design seen throughout the property.

Why Did MacNeil Buy This Mansion?
For MacNeil, this purchase allows him to leave Fort Lauderdale sooner, where his $36 million home is currently listed, positioning him closer to family as he prepares to welcome a new grandchild.
Buying the residence fully furnished also allows for an immediate transition, eliminating the delay of a ground-up build, which he had originally planned to do with the land he purchased to build a custom megamansion on, now being offered for $125 million.
Overall, this acquisition signals a clear pivot toward immediacy, lifestyle, and proximity, all while securing a turnkey residence in one of Palm Beach County’s most exclusive neighborhoods.
