Matt Holliday Looks to Sell Arizona Home For $11.6 Million

Retired MLB star Matt Holliday has listed his Arizona mansion for $11.6 million after purchasing the property for $10.6 million in February.

The seven-time All-Star and his family relocated to Arizona after putting their 136-acre Oklahoma estate on the market.

The move was prompted by a respiratory disease diagnosis linked to a water leak in their home, making a drier climate necessary.

Now, less than a year after settling into the five-bedroom residence at the base of Camelback Mountain, Holliday is looking to sell the property, which has undergone extensive upgrades to improve its indoor air and water quality.

Why is Holliday Selling?

Despite the extensive healthy-home upgrades the Hollidays made after a SENERGY360 assessment, including improvements to the property’s air and water quality, the home appears not to have given the family everything they needed to fully settle into Arizona.

The exact reason for selling after less than a year has not been publicly confirmed, but the family has reportedly begun searching for a residence with an existing guesthouse, suggesting their needs may have changed since moving from Oklahoma, even though the Paradise Valley property has approved plans for a detached casita.

Regardless of the circumstances behind the sale, the $11.6 million estate leaves its next owner with a contemporary home framed by Camelback Mountain views, extensive outdoor living space, and specialized systems designed to provide the healthiest living environment.
